Walks around the farm We recommend you enjoy this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for at least part of your stay at Markwell. Individually colour coded marked walks ranging from 1600 - 3400 metres (1-2 miles) allow different sections of the farm to be explored. |

Wildlife There are fantastic opportunities to view wildlife and the transition between fresh and salt water marshes. Most of the river boundaries lie within a Site of Special Scientific Interest, where nationally important bird species can be regularly spotted, Kingfishers, Cormorants, Nightjars, Skylarks, Buzzards and Kestrels are among those that can be seen. |
